If the production line temperature is too high, not within the scope of process requirements, there will be residual glue, it should be checked whether the temperature sensor is normal; Teflon high temperature tape product itself has quality problems, if not strictly according to the pressure sensitive adhesive baking data during the coating production process, curing time is not enough or the coating line speed is too fast, it will lead to glue, undercoat glue, and so on. Substrate can not be combined by three components; when Teflon tape is coated by coating roller of coating machine, semi-finished products generally need to be stationary for 2-3 days before rewinding and slicing. This is mainly to make the glue and base material fully combined, and the glue is completely cured in the natural state. If it is not completely cured, rewinding and slitting will occur, and residual glue will appear.

In view of the phenomenon of residual glue, the first and most important thing is to control the quality of Teflon tape. Before putting it into production, the preliminary high temperature screening test of ozone should be carried out to meet the company's requirements before it can be used.

3. How to use Teflon tape more reasonably

1. Use Teflon tape with yellow stripping paper so that it can be preserved for a long time without changing its stickiness.

2. Do not use metal sharp tools to rub against the surface of the tape. Clean the surface of the tape regularly and regularly with a wet cloth.

3. The acid-base and organic chemical solvents should not be dumped on the surface of the tape to ensure the dryness and cleanliness of the tape surface.

4. Purchase high cost performance tape as far as possible, not blindly pursuing the cheap price and ignoring the quality of the tape.

5. Temperature and tensile strength should be within the reasonable range of Teflon tape, not all environments, processes and equipment can be used.
